He will compete in the 65kg freestyle category, hoping to add to his Bronze medal that he won in London 4 years ago.Yogeshwar has been getting better with each of his performances at the Olympics. He finished 18th in Athens 2004, reached the quarterfinals in Beijing 2008 before fulfilling his childhood dream in London 2012 where he won a Bronze. Now in his final Olympic games the big question is, can Yogi win Gold?Injuries have been a huge concern for India’s star wrestler ever since he was ruled out of the World Championships last year, but Yogi reckons he is ready for the fight. “I have returned with more self-belief after my injury. I have struggled but I have got rewards for my struggle as well”, he adds. The Haryana wrestler will have the wishes of a billion Indians behind him today. His mother Sushila Devi also offered prayers at the Gauri Shankar temple in Delhi for her son’s success.
