The site, which employs 1,600workers, manufactures the parts for mobile phone networks.“TheHR manager at the Swindon site, senior management figures and staffrepresentatives will be present at the first consultation forum on 5 March. Nodecision will be made about re-structuring until after the consultation nextmonth,” said a Motorola spokesman.Lastweek Motorola announced 4,000 job cuts worldwide in an attempt to boostprofits.
